At the risk of turning this into another Topsider pro/con thread...

Snibble, at least read what's in the archive on Topsiders and sucking rather than gravity draining the oil then make your own decision.

I bring this up because there's probably a plastic belly pan that has to come off to get to the sump drain plug.
