I have tis problem with my 260e 88.
I start the engine, then starts to move but at any time loose the power, I push the gas pedal but the car does not move, the rmp are about 1800 to 2000. Then I turn off the engine and turn on again and the car runs, and I've to do it many times.
I already replaced the fuel filter.
