About the car: I'm told it was a local SoCal car, so the "cold" must refer to a chilly night in Palm Springs at best. However, it can get down into the 30's there, so perhaps that's not as inaccurate as it might sound.

The only problem I really see is that it's got only one Carfax record (clear otherwise) and that's a recent mileage/title statement. Complete blank before that. Yes, in CA diesels don't go through the whole smog check, but I'd think there would be a record of -something- before that, especially on an '84.

I may watch this one for a bit.
