You cannot really live on that amount of income. In my part of Canada the minumin wage is ten fifty and you cannot really live on that either.

You might exist as just getting enough food etc to have the strength to go to work the next day. But that would be about it.

If the minumin wage is really 6.50-7.50 an hour in some states slavery has not been abolished yet. That is in relation to todays cost of living..

Nice to see north americas largest retail chain is continuing to prosper extremely well on the backs of the poor employees. Walmart destroys other competition that at least had the integrety to pay decent living wages usually
