Butchering wild game, especially swine, can be a chancy thing for a slaughterhouse. It is easy to contaminate the facilities and run the risk of health department sanctions (at least in LA & MS. Dunno about other states).
Concerning feral swine, whatever the motivations are for impacting the population -- it's all good. It's like concern for
Aedes aegypti -- frankly my dear, I don't give a damn. Kill them.
