I mention the KYB because of the positive feedback and experience from Maki - I also mention it because the KYB shocks seem to have the same basic structure/technology as the Bilstiens but are about 1/2 the price at $45 (best price on a quick search). I did note on one site that they had the rears for the 220 sedan, but the fronts they kept stressing for was for the "Wagon" - that was just one site, perhaps the 220 sedan version was not in stock.

I do want a good ride that "works" with the design of the car, within a reasonable budget. I will do some more poking around and compare to the Bilstiens.
