You know, TBO's thread about Phil brings to mind something that has been discussed once or twice in the last almost 13 years I've been posting on this forum:

It would be interesting to know what members might have dropped off of the forum due to such a situation and no one ever knew it. For the more frequent posters, we have learned of a few because they develop friendships with other members who let us know such things.

For many of us, if we passed on tonight, there would just be no more posts and no one would ever know the difference. Phil touched most all of us, so I'm glad we at least know about it so we can pay our respects in various ways.
