I msg'ed him back with their site and got this in return. Makes you wonder how many people they have screwed over the years with their BS freight charges. At least Dan seems to have a wee bit of interest in the issue.

I believe that the nuts you’re looking for are falling into a category that is not giving a proper weight value which is why there’s such a big shipping cost.
