Yes, STFU because it is pot and not tobacco. Tobacco is bad, no doubt about it, but studies attempting to prove cannabis use causes lung cancer have all failed, and the results support the opposite conclusion. Back in the "This is your brain on drugs" days they attempted to prove cannabis's harms by testing on Rhesus monkeys. When they couldn't they literally asphyxiated the test monkeys with hundreds of times the normal dosage of cannabis smoke. The resultant oxygen deprivation induced brain damage was their "proof".

Do you have proof that cannabis smoking caused the damage? Does she smoke tobacco? It will more than negate any benefit of cannabis. Could there be another factor? For example people that clean obsessively can have severe lung damage from constant exposure to areosol chemical cleaners.

Exactly. People are going to use cannabis. Generations of prohibition have failed to prevent it. Black market pricing has failed to prevent it. Advertizing campaigns with lies about its harms have failed to prevent it.

Cannabis prohibition is nothing more than a Mexican drug cartel subsidy. People have had enough and made their voices heard.
