the tank is COVERED in crud.
I used quad coverage Diesel Power KLEEN in the tank for a week, and the filters cleaned themselves out.

what I understand about Diesel "ALGAE" or "critters" is that it's just basically sediment from fuel that's begun breaking down. chemical "recombiners" will repair a dirty critter infested tank.

it worked for me.
Would you happen to know where the tank vent valve lives on the SD? I've got the new valve but am unsure of where it is and how to access it.

The SD has suffered from the "algae" for years. It developed when the vehicle was out of service for nearly one year. I can tell you that "Biobor" has no effect on it.

I'm not sure if you are referring to this product:

I can tell you, with certainty, that the use of this product religiously for five years has no effect on the "algae". There is so much of it that the fuel gauge float can get stuck in it on the way down and won't immediately rise on a tank fill.
