You could always make up a sleeve that is sewn like a pouch that slides over the sunvisor. You can store it on the visor and when you flip the visor to the driver's side window you can pull the sleeve out along the visor to block the sun. I did this on my 85 300D and it works great! Of course I got matching color vinyl and my upholstery buddy did it on his industrial sewing machine. The material has to be stiff enough to not be floppy.
