In other words get a boost gauge, install it, and keep an eye on boost pressure in case it goes wild one day....Are the overboost protection valves expensive and do they ever go bad. There is a funny looking apparatus that is positioned against the firewall that may very well be the protection valve. I think it has 2 openings where the lines would connect to. I will have to double check that. I will also have to check the 0-60 soon and report back with that. As for the wastegate, where exactly is it located and what does it look like? I have replaced several things around the turbo in the past and would hate to damage or remove anything that serves purpose.
