To post pictures, click on your name in the upper right-hand area of the page. From there, go to the sidebar on the right. There is a section for albums there. Click on "add album" -- it should be pretty self-obvious from there (please note that you need to make sure that the pictures are no larger that 800x800). Once you have uploaded photos, click on an individual picture from the album -- you will be brought to a page that displays the image alone. Underneath the image, there is a "BB Code". Copy-and-paste the code into your post, and the picture will appear there.
