Thanks for the advice. I cleaned the line that looked gunked-up and goes from the intake manifold over to the black valve on the firewall (but did not actually dismantle anything to ensure jets or orifices are clean). It did not have an affect. It seems a good bet that there is an aneroid pressure problem since it also ties with my transmission shifting issue (other post). Was this the line you meant, or was it another? And how might I actually check proper pressure with my pressure gauge?
