No, you do not. Because in all these other so called "soft targets" there is no requirement for the citizenry to be unarmed and defenseless. In schools that is a requirement and whack jobs know that perfectly well. Witness the sicko in Aurora Colorado who targeted a movie theater specifically because it was a "gun free zone" whereas there were other theaters closer to his home which were not.
Why do you think it is that these screw ups never target police stations, shooting ranges, gun shops etc?
