Who and what is "the public"? Who makes up "the public"? Are we discussing something known as "public sentiment"? Are we talking "majority rule"? (democracy). Did Feinstein receive ten million certified mail letters in the last 72 hours demanding that she place this issue on the table?
I'd like to meet this so-called "public" so that we could have a sit down discussion on current issues........
