I ended up getting a craftsman-style salad bowl, or I think that's what it was, from Macy*s. It was about a little under a $100. It was a really nice bowl too. Very unique and artsy.

I read a Mrs. Manner's article once that said the unwritten rule about giving money as a means to pay for your dinner at a wedding is wrong and that the bride and groom who hint to preferring such a gift is being rude or something to that effect.
