Make sure that you remove the thermostat when performing a citric acid flush so that the water and crud can circulate. The block drains are a pain in the rear to remove. I would suggest flushing with citric acid and then with water , four times before adding coolant.
If you can find a radiator shop (and I'm sure that they exist in Oman), then take you radiator over there and have them clean it. It costs about $50 to do it in the US, so I suspect that it's probably a lot less in the US.

I was too lazy to remove the radiator... but after flushing this thing since 3 days I think It would have been a concept. You are right in Oman there are more radiator shops than gas stations and they might do a good job for cheap....next time.
after the last citric acid I'll flush 4 times with water in the end before filling with coolant.
