Well I went ahead and pulled things apart yesterday. After I got the int and exh manifolds off, I noticed where coolant had been leaking from the gasket on both sides of the engine! I have two quick questions:
1) When pulling out the 2 pins for the guide rail in the head, what size and pitch is the thread on the inside? I am going to make my own puller.
2) I found TDC per the FSM procedure, but noticed when I pull the camshaft sprocket off something is pulling tension on the chain. Is this the vacuum pump doing this maybe? It makes me nervous and I don't want to lose my time.
