yeah, you are right about it being offered in 64.
the 64 motor also is supposed to have a full flow oil filter mounted (I believe) down low on the side of the block. This engine has the oil filter mounted up top like the older engines. (I believe the engine may have been replaced or it could have been built with an older style motor with out the full flow filter, in a studey they say never say never about how it might have been built from the factory) It is where the factory installed the AC bracket....so If I am to use this motor I will have to mount the ac in a different place, do without the oil filter or do a full remote oil filter which I am reluctant to do.
So if there is an ac system and a power steering rack that is available powered by electricity at a reasonable price I am interested as long as I can put on an alternator big enough to power it all.
