Lately I’ve been having an issue with my 1995 C280, 196K. On cold starts I get a rumbling sound and slight vibration near the transmission tunnel at idle and while driving. After about four miles or so it goes away. Transmission fluid looks good at the dipstick.
The guys at SWFL Mercedes-Benz Enthusiasts Club think it might be a loose torque converter bolt. Anyone every have anything similar to this? And any tips on diagnosis/repair?
