How sensitive should cruise disengage at clutch be?

Just installed my rebuilt cruise amp from jamesdean on my 83 240D manual. Works perfectly. Thanks, Kris!

One thing I notice, though, is that the SLIGHTEST imaginable pressure on the clutch pedal causes the cruise to disengage. Is this as it should be, or should disengagement occur with a bit more pressure? The reason I ask is that once, when I went over a bump, the cruise disengaged, making me wonder if I tripped that (oversensitive) switch.

Is that switch adjustable? If so, how would I adjust it?

Thanks.
