The Pre-Glow Relay HAS "AFTERGLOW" up to 1 minute after START based on engine ambient temps.

If you've been operating the Ignition Switch (On/Start/Off On/Start/Off , Etc.,Etc. .... to get the GP relay
to "Shut Off" you've got Ignition Switch AND OTHER problems!
HINT:
Check the GROUNDS for the Pre-Glow Relay itself !!!
If the wiring or grounding in that circuit are BAD you'll chase Quixote all over the LowLands!

That is an Especial Pre-Glow Relay (It Can and Does disable itself when a Short Circuit exists in it's Power !!!!)
