Both door speakers are working. I see how that can happen per the diagram. But, I have no output from any speaker when the amp is disconnected -- that's what mis-lead me down that path. Does that have something to do with the common ground?

Anyway, are you suggesting that both speakers could be bad? I guess I can figure a way to cross the wires (maybe on the rear ones) to test that theory.

I've gone through several threads in this forum on speaker size and replacement methods...looks like I'm in for some fun.
