uh, if you like doing nasty filthy work that takes hours, and makes a mess of your entire driveway, ruins your clothes, stains your skin, and leaves you with several gallons of toxic black stew to dispose of, then by all means do that. personally, i prefer to pay the local machine shop 50 dollars to give it a bath in the hot tank. mine was nearly clogged shut, but came back clean enough to eat off of.
do this, and also have your injectors rebuilt with new nozzles by the local diesel shop. i used fratelli bosio, but those are hard to come by right now.
those two things will restore its original power. keep your foot into it, and let the motor wind up. you'll be rewarded with a car that accelerates quicker than you expected.
