The 60s was prior to drug use being outlawed for the most part, before meth and crack swept across america, before condoms were commonplace, etc. While the baby boomers have a lot of say, being a major crowd, they're getting old and less directly relevant in terms of raising the next generation. All the "kids these days" rant does is show increasing age and inability to adapt.
