OK,,, by 'buckskin' are you meaning literally deer skins ? With or without the hair ?

There is actually a process done to some cow hides which make them feel like deer... but at much less cost... and they are waterproof....I don't mean water resistant... I mean I used to put them under a stream of water when I was selling them... and it does not wet them...
