I'm noticing that the Mercedes-Benz / For Sale forum has at least one thread (and perhaps a lot more) that links to, and offers for sale a stranger's car.

Wouldn't this type of activity be better served by the posting of stranger's ads in the CL alert thread, or elsewhere on PP?

It just seems to me that the For Sale forum should be for the selling of cars by their actual owners - not a clearing house for any car that any member thinks they found interesting - for whatever reason(s).
