I think all you need is patience and a few tools. The job is much easier if you have a swivel (aka universal) attachment for your socket set. Also, A Hazet 2771 (MB Part 110-589-01-01-00) 17mm open end wrench or equivalent to pry off spark plug boots without damaging them.

New plugs come coated with an anti-seize compound so no need to use your own.
