I'm having trouble mustering a great deal of sympathy, at least beyond the great sympathy I feel for those he has suppressed by whatever means he chose.

Cancer is a horrible way to die, though, and no one really deserves that. I'm glad he's gone, and I'm glad his suffering is over.
