When you find it revving "too much", is that just by the amount that it is when it is in one gear lower? Wouldn't that amount of RPM change be the same whether you had tall axle ratio or low?
keep in mind, our TC's do not LOCK UP, rather, they have a tuned "stall" rpm where the hydraulic link has maximum rotor rpm output.
I'd KILL to have a lock up TC in my cars...
