They pop off but can be stuck on pretty tight sometimes. Stick a flat pry bar between the trim and the body, and gently pry. I think there are two clips that hold the trim on. Pry gently until you can locate where the clips are then slide you pry bar in right where the clip is and pry. They'll pop out.
