I haven't bought a gun in a while so I am not sure if there is any tax on them. Why do you think that there is no tax on a newspaper, because of freedom of speech the founding fathers were sharp enough to never allow news to be taxed
that way the government could not silence it or keep it out of the citizens hands with a huge tax.
