If one element only is off the milli volt method is an alternative. No claim to be that it is anywhere as accurate as a bench job at an injection pump service shop. Still it can get you by quite well. Thats if you pay attention to the details of the milli volt method.

It worked well enough for some people in the past. I think you can read some of their results and aproaches on that thread. The original intent was to avoid having to use expensive repairs on some problems. In your case as on many others you have nothing to lose by trying it. Just think as you go along.

An extra benifit is you will also learn a lot as well hopefully. If you have some oddball issue inside the injection pump used pumps are common at auto wreckers.

Usually a repair bill from a pump service shop will be substantial. Plus having run your pump on vegatable oil might even further inflame the bill.
