I drove a cornpicker in Eastern WA back in '75. Tractor pulled contraption towing a hopper. Went down the row and clipped corn on each side. We'd do this thing where we'd put an ear between the exhaust manifold and block, do one row, turn it around for another, then husk it and apply butter. Yummers, what you call farm fresh.
