Just FYI, Silver Spring is a decently well to do area just North of Washington DC. Potomac, just a few miles west of Silver Spring, is the richest part of metropolitan Maryland. It's the place where the wife of the former Shah of Iran, NBA players, NFL players, NFL coaches, Marriott executives, foreign ambassadors, and other ridiculously wealthy people live.
Great Falls, Va is the corresponding area on the other side of the Potomac River which is the border between the two states. Equally affluent people inhabit this area. Which is quite near to Langley, Virginia, home of the CIA.

Yep, the same demographic (retirees) have the job here. Not just women though.
And the old men that I used to work with got really irritated if you didn't hold the sign just right.
