It would seem to be impossible to drive your 1992 300CE in that condition. How long have you had this problem? Replacing the Oxygen sensor in our 1991 300CE (same engine) resolved balky acceleration from a stop. Although it seems like your problem is much worse. What is the mileage and condition of your car? Is it routinely maintained?
