The engine in the boat looked like the one on the right except for no blower and a very small carb like on the green one. The green one is the one with the built up block. I understand the block weighed less than 15# and the whole engine 135# or so with 750cc. The one in the Madison boat is the version with cast iron block and head, like the silver one.

these engines found their way into midget race cars too and sports racing specials as they were very small and had good power for their size.
