I'm 33. I can be reasonably expected to drive for another 45 years if that. If I buy one or two new cars with a real transmission, rather than ones designed for drooling gimps, cell-phone-yapping teen girls, and overweight American porky-pies with ruined knees, they can be reasonably expected to last my entire driving career. Or at least till this country switches to 100% electric cars.
