Alternative bell housing anyone?????

Sorry for the thread revival - this isn't for a W124 gearbox - but it might be useful for an alternative.

Thinking out of the box - thinking MARINE engines there are lots of these things about for no much money

This one is currently for sale here in Holland for just under 80 euros.

There are lots of these little bell housing / clutch covers out there for the OM617.

Is that worth thinking about?
