Fixing W123 blower fuse problem

yesterday was the second time I've performed a fusbox 'repair' on a W123, where the AC/heater blower fuse area was hopelessly burnt. What I've been doing is loosening and pulling the fusebox through the firewall, far enough to flip it over and transfer the blower wires & screws to a vacant, unused fuse position. Seemed neater than wiring in an inline fues-holder. And much easier than installng a new fusebox (if one is even still availible)
Was there ever a fix by adding a relay circuit for this problem.

Happy Motoring, Mark
