Im pretty sure that the US models are detuned dont know why but.... maybe for emission restrictions who knows. In Australia, im guessing that they are close to european models. Ive had my E280 for 4 months now and its been great. I run 98 octane premium fuel here and its so much better than regular. Ive had the car showing 225km/h and that was it. It got there very quickly. Ive just came out of a C200 and this thing is a rocket compared. Its not very impressive off the line and 90% of the time I get my backside kicked by 1.8litr cars. But then when 60 clicks hits, watch the speedometer rise. A seemless surge all the way to 225km/h with only a punctuated change in engine note and gear change. I mean its not a rocket ship but the way it does it is still amazes me
