When I bought my first house it had carpet installed

First thing I did was start ripping out the carpet in master bedroom. Literally I had opened the door around 2 PM and had the mouldings out and picking out staples around 6 - 7 PM

Then took a week off work and sanded the floors and stained and all that. Came out pretty decent and my expenditure was something, I think about $120. For a while the old bedroom carpet I had thrown on the driveway and was parking my car on it. I kind of liked it (like a showroom!) but after a few rains I rolled it and threw it away.
