My Altima will be my last Nissan. It has 20k miles on it which have been trouble free but the CVT is whining which means it will need to be replaced and the fit and finish on the car is terrible.

Nissan have a service for this, they detune it so the trans variates later and also the TC locks at a bit higher rpm. It smooths out power and also noise, its easy on the dog bone mounts too but you sacrifice about 1 or 2 mpg.
