I just want to get the 17cc so it can improve lower speed performance. I don't understand how the variable displacement compressors work, so I ASSUME you can't just throw one in and it uses electronic inputs to adjust the low side pressure? All I know is that the CLK320's A/C leaves you frozen and my 300TE leaves back sweat.

cant say for cheap, but they are known as direct mount and come in a plethora of designs and capacities.
