That hurts!
When I was much younger I took the factory tour. While the croud was being moved around, there was a 600 shell parked by itself. I looked at it and marvelled at the perfect black paint and it's massive size. I can only imagine how much care was lavished upon it and how the new owner would feel being in it.
One of our neighbors was a salesman at the local dealer and offered me a ride. He drove around and I operated all the hydraulic switches. The windows were silent and moved up and down very quickly. No whirring or hissing, just silence. There was a small refridgerated compartment for storing drinks. the interior was sumptious and the smell devine. The rear seat moved back and forth too, silently of course.
My father's '65 300 SE LWB was it's cousin.
