I'd say not enough to make it completely unable to since the car is static when the alignment takes place, but the movement can cause the strut mount to collapse and during bumps in the road make a nice dent in the top of your hood.

Either way you want to get them done. Meyle HD should be fine ~$25/each. Usually I shy away from Meyle, but their strut mounts are OK for right now. Note how I said now. Who knows for future readers.
