The S350 Diesel: Yes I would buy one in a heartbeat. It is for people who want a large car with AWD and 33+mpg on the highway and not the major upkeep of say the V12. Now because one spends $100,000 on a S Class does not mean you have a driver. If you think most S Class owners get driven around by someone else then I have a bridge to sell you and if you think the S350D 4M is boring then so is the S550 4M as I can go on MBUSA build a S350D and it will have all the same options right down to looks. Only real difference is performance and mpg and ABC(S550 only)

I have seen the S350 used by limo companies in LA, with better mileage makes sense to me.
