I get a little irritated when someone with a gasser takes up one of the few dual petrol/diesel pumps at the station when there are many petrol only pumps free. What we see in the picture is a completely different species of jerk. I have been looked askance at a few times when fueling my Benzes (petrol or diesel) since the fuel door is on the opposite side from most U.S. made vehicles. I also tend to put my motorcycle to the left of the pump when fueling, since it leans to the left when parked, and I fill until the meniscus touches the filler neck. This is much easier to see when standing to the right of the bike while fueling.
