It's difficult to determine value w/o inspecting the car. If you go by the "books", you'll find a wide range of prices, some of which will piss you off. I've been using the Old Car Price Guide as a "gauge" for prices since 1996, and found their descriptions and values to be very accurate. Your 300D, in #4 condition (needing a lot of minor mechanical and cosmetic work), is listed at $3000. A #3 condition car (described as a 20 footer - looking good from 20', but finding cosmetic flaws as you get closer) doubles the value to $6000. The Price Guide does NOT have a deduction guide for mileage. I would imagine a car w/ 200+k miles would suffer some deduction in price, unless the owner has sevice records to back up a claim of good maintenance. You might, also, try running a nation wide search on AutoTrader.com. It will give you a list of cars for sale along with minimum, average and highest asking prices.
